Drosophila are sold in living cultures and are an ideal species for behaviour and genetics studies. Vestigial or short winged fruit flies are unable to fly, ebony body fruit flies are dark in colour. These are recessive traits, chromosomal positions: 3/2. Supplied in glass specimen tubes.
