CHEMICALS – What is the ADR charge?

Certain toxic and flammable chemicals and goods require special packing, shipping, transportation, and delivery to prevent risk to the health and well-being of people directly involved with them.

The surcharge ensures that the goods are transportation and legislation compliant. Some of these chemicals can be transported in limited quantities with no ADR charge, others, have a surcharge regardless of quantity.

New ADR surcharge as of 1st October 2022, the ADR charge will be £15.00 per order.

We have recently donated £1000 to the British Red Cross, to support their Ukraine Crisis Appeal.  

The donation was a result of fundraising at our recent National Sales meeting which raised £380. The company matched this donation and then increased to £1000.  

A big thank you goes to all who contributed at the NSM and our thoughts go out to everyone affected in the war in Ukraine.
