The Annual Decorate Your Desk Competition 2019!

Every Christmas in the Nottingham office we host the annual decorate your desk competition which sees different departments fighting it out to be the winner!  The first email goes out in October as preparations start early to impress the judging panel with your Christmassy desk designs. 

Yesterday was judging day which saw Santa's Sleigh and The North Pole sharing 1st place and Greta's Gang who came in second place.

Nottingham Technician's Meeting

Last week, we hosted the Nottingham Technicians Meeting at our head offices, hosted by our Territory Manager Julie Dodwell and our Technical Support Office Donna O'Connor.

We hope everyone that attended had a rewarding day and we look forward to welcoming you to our next event!

Fundraising For Rainbows Hospice For Children And Young People

Congratulations to Andy who won the Rainbows gin in our prize draw this week!

We will be doing our usual collection for Rainbows instead of sending Christmas cards this year.

For the last nine years, many of us have decided to save the money that we would otherwise spend on sending Christmas cards to colleagues and contribute instead towards supporting the Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough. The company also supports this program with a corporate donation of £100 to start the fund rolling and each year, your generous donations have resulted in us being able to offer this incredible organisation, contributions of several hundred pounds. Last year’s final total was £450! Enough money to make a real difference.

Opening times and delivery information over the festive period

Our Goods In will be accepting deliveries until the 20th December 2019 with only smaller deliveries via carrier taken on the 23rd and 24th of December. 

We will be accepting deliveries between 8am and 2pm on the 27th, 30th and 31st December 2019 and our customer services will be open from 10am - 3pm.    

Our last date for delivery prior to Christmas will be Christmas Eve. Orders will be sent via carrier on the 27th, 30th and 31st of December.   

Our Customer Services will be closed on the 25th and 26th of December and the 1st January 2020. 

Business will resume as usual on January 2nd.

The 2019 Technicians Summer Conference

Great news!

We are delighted to announce that we will be attending the 2019 Technicians Summer Conference on Friday 28th June 2019! 

This is possibly the largest event specifically organised for science technicians. There will be a series of ‘workshops’, various exhibitions and plenty of opportunities for discussion to take place.
