The modern MicroBlue microscopes are entry-level models for secondary schools. The range includes the following features as standard:

Wide field WF 10x/18mm eyepiece, monocular models have fixed pointer
360° rotatable head: 45° inclined tubes
Revolving nosepiece for three or four reversed objectives
Objectives: achromatic 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25 and S40x/0.65, the S40x, S60x and S100x oil immersion objectives are spring loaded
Focusing: coaxial coarse and fine adjustments
Stages: basic model (MIC6660) has plain stage with two clamps, all other models supplied with X-Y mechanical stage
Condenser: basic model (MIC6660) has single N.A. 0.65 condenser with built-in iris diaphragm, all other models supplied with height adjustable Abbe condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris diaphragm and filter holder
All monocular versions have 1W LED illuminator, binocular models have replaceable 1W NeoLED™ illumination system
