This apparatus provides the basis for student investigations into resistance. Four wires, 50cm long mounted on a hardwood and acrylic base with 4mm connections. The wires are all nichrome with diameters 1.0, 0.8, 0.63 and 0.4mm giving resistance in the range 0.4-4 Ohms. A graduated mm scale is included allowing resistance vs. length and resistance vs diameter investigations to be easily covered.
