We are thrilled to share that this month marks the beginning of a significant milestone for our company as we start transitioning into our new purpose-built warehouse and office facility at the Fairham Development in Nottingham. Our teams have already begun the process of moving over to the new site, and are looking forward to the fresh opportunities this new space will bring to support our continued growth and innovation.
The new site will operate alongside our current facility before completing the phased transition in Summer 2024. During this transition, it’s business as usual for customer deliveries. Over time, you will notice the new address appearing on our invoices and communications. We are confident that this new facility will not only improve our operational capabilities but also strengthen the relationships we have with our valued customers.
Key Highlights:
- New Facility: Our state-of-the-art National Distribution Centre will boast 48,000m² of storage space - nearly three times our current capability.
- Advanced Technology: Investments in a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the latest conveyor automation technology will enhance our capacity to process over 2,000 orders per day - two and a half times our current capability.
- Strategic Location: Situated just under three miles from our current facility, the new site offers closer proximity to local and national transportation links.
- Environmental Impact: With the installation of photovoltaic solar panels, the new site will be capable of generating 300KWh. The building is heated solely by renewable energy using the solar installation with excess sold back to the National Grid.
